Songwriting With Rod MacDonald
Tuesdays 4-5:45 pm each day
September 15, 22, 29; October 6, 13, 20.

Recently I led two workshops at Common Ground On The Hill, an arts and music summer camp at McDaniel College with a faculty from all over the world and classes
in traditional arts and music. This year it was held online, via zoom; I hunkered down with a group of songwriters for a two-hour morning session each day for five days.
Everyone brought in their songs and we listened to each other and had creative discussions about the work. I believe everyone completed at least one song.

Afterward, CGOTH sent me these comments (no names), sent in by the students:

It does appear these workshops are helpful to aspiring and experienced writers alike. Here’s what I propose:

A week of workshops, two hours each day, via zoom, limited to eight participants.

We’ll do this 4-5:45 pm Tuesdays beginning September 15.

The cost will be $100 per participant for the week of sessions.
