Classes are interactive and offer performance opportunities and individual and group feedback.

Recently I led two workshops at Common Ground On The Hill, an arts and music summer camp at McDaniel College with a faculty from all over the world and classes in traditional arts and music. This year it was held online, via zoom; I hunkered down with a group of songwriters for a two-hour morning session each day for five days. Everyone brought in their songs and we listened to each other and had creative discussions about the work. I believe everyone completed at least one song.

Afterward, CGOTH sent me these comments (no names), sent in by the students:

"Best song writing instructor I have had at Common Ground.  Able to analyze songs and give great feedback."
"Loved working with Rod, as always. Very helpful, and informative!"

"Great performance suggestions and advice. Rod is a wonderful teacher, and the course worked remarkably well, despite having to switch to online format."

It does appear these workshops are helpful to aspiring and experienced writers alike.
Here’s what we'll do:

Six workshops, via zoom, limited to eight participants.
We’ll do this 4-5:45 pm Tuesdays, for six weeks.
The cost is $100 per participant.
